Full Moon Rituals! Letting that shit go!

On July 27th/28th, 2018, this Friday! We will experience a Celestial phenomenon, a full moon lunar eclipse. This is a great time for healing, time to review, time to really look inward, release and clear your energy.

During this time is when I really like to harness the power of the moon and really dig deep and release anything that isn’t serving my highest, elevated self. The last full moon in June, I had set up my stuff to start my full moon ritual. I lit my candles, wrote my letter, meditated and released. Doing this ritual caused one of the biggest fights my boyfriend and I ever had. Don’t let that scare you from starting your full moon ritual because even though it was one of our biggest fights, it needed to happen in order for us to let our past go and move forward. It ended up being a true blessing in disguise.

Here are a few things you can do to start your own full moon ritual.

1.) Pick a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. I personally like to do this ritual outside, perferably where I can see the moon (if possible).

2.) Set up your space. I set up my space with energy clearing crystals and stones. Sage and/or incense, these two objects also clear your energy and help keep you grounded. A glass or clear bowl filled with water. Candles, and lastly your journal or a notebook, since you will be ripping out the page you might want a notebook.

Now that your space is set up with your energy clearing essentials we can begin.

1.) First light your candles, center yourself and call upon your guides to be with you and protect you during the ritual.

2.) Think of all the patterns and behaviors that you would like to let go of and write them down in your notebook.

3.) After you have completed your letter you are going to want to burn your letter so that you can let go of everything listed on your paper. While you are burning your letter you will want to recite the following;

I am ready and willing to let go of…” Say this out loud along with what you have written down on paper. Speaking out gives things more power and makes it more real.

4.) After your letter is completely burned take a few minutes to reflect on how you feel. Close your eyes and visualize all that you are releasing. Vizulize it lifting away with the smoke.

5.) Use your sage stick or incent and wave it across your body to cleanse off any negative energy still within you.

6.) End with a closing prayer. I like to use;

I am now choosing to cleanse myself and release any and all thought forms, beings, situations and energies that are no longer of service to my highest and greatest good… across all planes of my existence, across all universes, and across all lifetimes. I ask that all energies that are less than love be transmuted for the highest good of all. And so it is. YOU ARE LUMINOUS.”

Once I have recited my prayer, I will place my hands in the water. Doing this is another way to cleanse your energy. Has I dry my hands I continue to recite the prayer.

Once I have fully cleansed myself of all the blockers and negative energy. I like to cleanse my crystals and stones. To do this, I just leave them in a glass bowl, underneath the moonlight overnight. I collect my crystals and stones in the morning and set them back up in their spaces.

The day of the full moon, so in this case it will be the 28th. I cleanse my home of any negative energy. I do this by smudging my home, I start at the front door and work my way back through the house. Smudging is burning herbs most commonly sage to get rid of negative energy on yourself, home, or any space. I also like to open all the windows in my home as well as vacuum. Don’t forget to recite a closing prayer once you have completed your cleansing. That’s it, now you and your home should be fully cleansed and you can continue living your Elevated Life!

Namaste! 🙏🧘‍♀️❤
